The Music Reader's Toolbox – Section 4 – Modes and Chords.

Modes and Chords, when combined, are the foundation for creativity. All the

secrets to improvisation and solo guitar playing are here waiting for you to enjoy.

To start this, the creativity section, you will play a 12 bar blues chord sequence

and solo over it. I have chosen this is because it's the easiest way to learn how to

improvise.

I love playing the blues, but it can turn into quicksand and drag you down forcing

you to stop you looking at complex chord sequences and rhythms.
