Construction of the KDF music school in Kachomo, Uganda has begun.

This is the first stage of a community school setup by Mike Kasibo. Mr. Kasibo asked me to oversee the teaching of music and use The Music Reader's Toolbox for the foundation and development of the school's brand new music department.

Initially, I will be teaching the music students in Uganda on Skype / Zoom. In time I will hand the school over to music teachers from their community when the are fully trained in my methods.
The selection process to find suitable candidates for the teaching staff begins this week.

All music teachers working at the KDF music school in Kachomo will be instructing their students to sight read music using The Music Reader's Toolbox. At the heart of the lessons will be the way I use the stave as a constant source for creativity.

Students of all ages, whatever their experience level, whether they are singers or instrumentalists will discover the enjoyment that comes from reading from the stave and the many benefits within.

Very exciting!! The first bricks have been set in place for the new KDF music school in Kachomo.
